Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database platform. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We never store your location permanently.
SwellIQ uses the following third-party services to power surf forecasts:
These services receive your approximate location (latitude/longitude) to fetch surf conditions for nearby spots. They do not receive your personal account information.
We only send emails when you explicitly opt in to surf alerts. You can turn off alerts at any time from your account settings. We do not send marketing emails.
You can request to view, update, or delete your account data at any time by emailing us at checkswelliq@gmail.com. We'll respond within 7 days.
SwellIQ uses minimal cookies — only what's required for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top and notify users via email if the changes affect how we use your data.
